All-Ability Halloween 5K Run/Walk
WHAT?
Join us in supporting the human and civil rights of children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities! This 5K RUN/WALK is open to people of ANY ability and ANY age! Get your costume ready and participate in the fun!!!
There will be a fun run for children, as well as a costume contest, and raffles!

We are no longer accepting event sponsors for this 5K event.
However, we are welcoming contributions of water, fruit, granola bars, protein bars, donuts, candy, bottled water, and additional supplies!

Interested in volunteering?
Volunteers must be 18 years and older and able to pass a background check.
Volunteers will receive a free (1 year) membership and a t-shirt for becoming a volunteer!

Yes, you can register on race day, but we can’t guarantee a t-shirt.
We will have a results link that can be accessed from RunSignUp, our registration website, or at the race via a Chromebook or QR code. It will all be online, no printed results.
The event will proceed rain or shine. However, in the event of a significant snowstorm, we may consider cancellation for the safety of all participants. Please stay updated for any weather-related announcements.
Unfortunately, we are not able to provide refunds.
We will be sharing pictures from the 5K via email to attendees at least 2 weeks after the event. You may also see some pictures on social media and on our website.
We recommend arriving 30 minutes before the 5K starts if you have already registered online. If you have not registered online beforehand, we recommend you arrive 1 hour before the event starts. You will need time to receive your number and get ready for the race!
We will have water available at each mile marker of the 5K.
We will have ADA compliant restrooms near the check-in table at the 5K race.
The Arc of Adams County Emergency Fund
Our emergency fund provides direct assistance to families receiving advocacy during crises. This includes covering expenses such as medication copays, rental assistance to prevent eviction, utility bills, and various other essential needs.
Speaking for Ourselves (SFO)
Speaking for Ourselves (SFO) is a group run by adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. They use their voices to express what is important to them and make change in the community.
Arc of Adams County General Fund
Our general fund fuels our advocacy efforts, events and trainings that raise awareness and empower the community, and cover essential organizational expenses. From providing direct support and representation to individuals with IDD to facilitating educational events, the general fund enables us to fulfill our mission effectively and make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.
