We offer several support groups for those who have questions, concerns, or are in need of a place to talk. All are free of charge.

Are you growing up with and/or caring for a sibling with an intellectual disability? This group is for you. Sibling group meets for an hour once per month at The Arc of Adams County. It is led by a licensed therapist and is completely confidential. There are two separate groups offered: 12-18 year olds & 18 and up.

Would you like an overview of adult services? Are you getting the most out of your services? Have other questions or concerns? Snack & Chat is here to help. This group meets upon request at The Arc of Adams County.

Families are welcomed to join our informal

monthly gathering to discuss & share

information/topics related to children with special

needs. The first hour will provide specific information regarding special education & Individual

Education Programs (IEP's). The second hour

provides a wonderful opportunity to ask questions & network with other parents.

"I liked the idea of joining a group where others could possibly relate to some of the things that my family & I go through on a daily basis. Just knowing that I am not alone on my journey is helpful,"

- sibling
